First Time @ Auto Club Speedway

Just had my first track day at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. A fun track, but that Roval is extremely scary at high speeds! It takes balls to take it at high speeds, but I was getting more comfortable with it with each session, but ended the day early with one session left. Left with a 2:11.x time which I feel was decent considering this is my third track day ever and my first time here with a basically stock car (with bolt ons and springs). This was also my first time using the M Dynamic Mode traction control (I used the “Sport” traction control at my previous track days, which was quite intrusive) and it definitely allowed me to take corners faster and ‘kicked’ in less harshly if I was doing something wrong. It will be a while before I can take traction control off completely though!

New Parts on the M3

After waiting about a week for my BMW Performance spoiler to come in to eas (european auto source), I made the appointment to get it installed in addition to Macht Schnell’s stage 2 intake and underdrive pulleys. My previous setup (Akrapovic Evolution exhaust) netted me around 379whp. With the intake and pulleys, my car is now at a healthy 394whp. Although the torque is not there (compared to my Evo), this thing picks up speed extremely quick. It’s kinda scary since you don’t realize how fast you’re going. Overall, I think the pulleys and intake are completely worth it. Oh, the BMW Performance spoiler’s quality is out of this world – BMW’s CF just can’t be beat.

New Wheels

This summer I decided to start riding my bike again. This Sunday I’m heading out to bike the San Gabriel Valley River Trail. It’ll be about 60 miles round trip from La Puente all the way down to the beach, and back again. My Peugeot wasn’t cutting it anymore. It’s comfortable for short rides around Irvine, but when I started to get out there, the old down-tube shifters and heavy frame were weighing me down.

I decided to upgrade to this baby down below, the Cannondale CAAD10. This thing is light as f*ck. The 105 shifters have made shifting so much easier too. So secksi.

Update: Here’s the chart from my MyTracks app. I’m hella slow. Gotta step up my stamina.

SpoCom 2011 Photo Coverage

SpoCom 2011 turned out awesome with ALL types of vehicles showing up. This is what I’m talking about. I don’t always want to see JDM-tyte cars. It is nice to have some variety once in a while.

Issues with the car:
-Windshield has a few rock chips in it, they haven’t gotten bigger in over 8 months or so.
-There is still some clearance issues with the front tires and the bumper (slightly rubs on certain turns). The bumper clearance can be easily fixed by cutting more of the bumper. Check with your local bodyshop on what needs to be done.
- Wheels are curbed
-Typical wear & tear of a daily driven car

The car is a 2006 model that I purchased new in 2007. I have ~55,000 miles (mostly highway) on the car. I’ve NEVER tracked the car and once in a while give it some WOT. Most of the time I drive it like an old man in a Camry (I’ve never been pulled over for ANYTHING in this car =]). All oil changes have been done at ~3000 mile intervals by South Coast Mitsubishi (I have all records).

Asking price is $40,000 as-is. NO TRADES. Lowball offers will be ignored.

You will be purchasing this car in as-is condition without any warranty or support, implied or otherwise.

Not included: Recaro SPG seats.

There will absolutely be NO TEST DRIVES. You can check out the car in person though. Email to schedule an appointment.

Use contact form for all inquiries.

I may have left out some mods in the listing. Some photos may also not reflect actual mods on the car.
